Our Firm
An "AV" rated law firm, Seiden, Alder, Matthewman & Bloch, P.A. was founded in 1998, as a full-service litigation firm, by Andrew Seiden and
other attorneys, formerly practicing with a major insurance defense firm in Florida.
Since its inception, our firm's philosophy has always centered around
a belief that every case can be won. We recognize, however, that certain factors at many times necessitate that a more certain resolution, through negotiation
or mediation, be pursued. Regardless of the particular strategy we undertake, we approach each case in partnership with our clients, and also with the insurance
companies, if appropriate, for whom the handling and resolution of these matters are critical.
To this end, our firm mandates the use of in-depth reports and
budgets that not only provide a detailed description of our litigation strategy, but also clearly set forth the costs anticipated in achieving this objective.
Through these means, our clients are provided with an opportunity
to make informed decisions early in the litigation process and at critical steps going forward.
Considering the uncertainties inherent in litigation, it is our
goal to obtain the best results possible and this may only be accomplished when the client remains well informed and joins us as "partners in battle."
While we believe that our specialization and emphasis on client service distinguishes us from other law firms, our firm's team approach sets us apart from our peers.
At the time of our initial retention, each case is carefully analyzed and efficiently staffed with a team of attorneys and paralegals, particularly suited to the
special requirements of the particular type of litigation, as well as the litigation management requirements of a particular insurance company. This approach ensures:
- Complete coverage of all aspects of the litigation;
- Cost-effective billing with use of associate attorneys and paralegals, where appropriate; and
- Consideration and incorporation of different perspectives of the attorneys involved in the representation of our client.
This last factor is of great value as many of our attorneys have prior professional experience and training in related
