Andrew Seiden is the founder of Seiden, Alder, Matthewman and Bloch P.A., is AV rated and chairs the firm's Commercial and Business Litigation and Professional Liability Practice Groups. A large portion of Andrew's practice focuses upon defending professionals (attorneys, physicians, accountants and miscellaneous professionals) in malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty actions, state and federal class action suits, securities fraud litigation, and arbitrations.
In addition, he is actively involved in representing parties in director and officer liability actions (both for-profit and not-for-profit) and public entities and officials liability actions. Furthermore, Andrew also represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation, including real estate litigation, estates and trusts litigation, and breach of contract actions. He has also lectured extensively on accountant and auditor liability.
Andrew received his J.D. degree, cum laude, in 1983 from the University of Florida. While there, he was a member of Florida Blue Key and Omicron Delta Kappa. He served as Title Standards Editor for the University of Florida Law Review from 1982-1983. He also served on the University of Florida Board of Athletic Directors from 1982-1983.
Andrew received his B.A. in journalism from the University of Florida in 1980. While an undergraduate at the University of Florida, he was an active member of Pi Lambda Phi fraternity.
Andrew is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Florida Defense Bar Association, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, and the National Legal Malpractice Data Center of the ABA Standing Committee on Lawyers’ Professional Liability. He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Florida.
