Chinese businessman Guo Wengui, also known as Ho Wan Kwok or Miles Guo, was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Manhattan for his $1 billion fraud conspiracy on Wednesday. The purported billionaire had defrauded thousands of investors in his fraudulent schemes, directing funds to benefit his media company GTV Media Group and his personal property, which included a 145-foot yacht.
The investigative and legal teams at Seiden Law, led by Managing Partner Robert Seiden, discovered his hidden assets, including his 15-room apartment residence, and helped secure the $90 million judgment against him with Stuart Sarnoff of O’Melveny & Myers LLP. The firm is proud to have achieved justice on behalf of its clients once more. The arrest has been reported in major news sources, The New York Times, The Guardian, the New York Post, CNN, Law 360, ABC News, and Forbes.
