Summer Associate Program

We are no longer accepting summer associates. We will reopen the process for our 2024 Summer Program next Spring.

Summer associate interns are selected from a competitive pool of 2L and 3L students to closely assist attorneys on a variety of complex litigation and arbitration matters each summer. Law students are attracted to our firm because of our supportive culture and unique clientele, cases, and opportunities rarely seen at other law firms.

Opportunities

Summer associates will have the opportunity to assist in high stakes litigation and arbitration, typically on behalf of plaintiffs, including defrauded investors, large and small businesses, whistleblowers, court-appointed receivers, and judgment creditors. Opportunities include performing substantive legal research and writing, preparing briefs and other legal documents for filing, preparing for depositions, conferences, and hearings, and processing documents from opposing and third parties. Law students will be closely mentored by associate and senior attorneys at the firm.
Summer associates are offered a competitive salary or can work for school credit instead.

Candidates must be 2L and 3L students, though exceptions can be made for outstanding 1L students at top law schools. Candidates must have a willingness to learn quickly and complete tasks efficiently. They must have fundamental proficiency in online research and have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills. Candidates must have the skillset to handle fast‐paced and high‐intensity matters and relocate to be able to commute to the New York office. Relevant experience with a law firm is preferred.
